Ordering Online - Terms and Conditions
Any times or dates stated on our web site for delivery are estimates only. Total Car Kits will make all reasonable effort to deliver goods within the time specified, but does not accept liability for any failure to deliver within that time.
You must pay by credit or debit card at the time of order. The price of any Product or Service is the price in force at the date and time of your order. We may change the price of any Product or Service before you place an order. We try to ensure that our prices displayed on our web site are accurate but the price on your order will need to be validated by us as part of the acceptance procedure (see below). We will inform you if a Product or Service's correct price is higher than that stated in your order and you may cancel the order and decide whether or not to order the Product or Service at the correct price.
Total Car Kits is entitled to refuse any order placed by you.
You undertake that all details you provide to us for the purpose of purchasing goods or services which may be offered by us on our web site will be correct, that the credit or debit card, or any electronic cash, which you use is your own and that there are sufficient funds or credit facilities to cover the cost of any goods or services. We reserve the right to obtain validation of your credit or debit card details before providing you with any goods or services.

Installation Services – Terms and Conditions
-Installation Location
A suitable and safe installation location must be provided for the engineer to carry out any work. Busy roads and poorly lit underground areas are not suitable. Parking must be provided for our engineer in order for the installation to be carried out. Any parking charges must be paid in advance by the Customer. If an installation cannot be carried out because unsuitable or no parking is provided, or if the working area provided is unsafe then the installation will be cancelled and a Cancellation charge will apply (see below).
-Warranties/Service Calls
All products supplied by Total Car Kits are offered under a 12 month warranty period unless otherwise stated. This is a parts and labour warranty unless stated. No warranty is offered on any parts not supplied by Total Car Kits. Any genuine faults within this period will not incur a call-out (Service Call) charge. The warranty offered excludes but is not limited to the following: damage, misuse, user error, wear and tear, software updates, kit moved to another vehicle, any adjustment made by anyone other than our Engineers or anything deemed outside of the manufacturer’s warranty.
-Cancellations/Re-visits
If a confirmed appointment needs to be cancelled a minimum of 48 hours notice (Mon-Fri) is required, otherwise a £45.00 Cancellation fee will be charged. Correct address and contact details must always be provided. If an installation is missed because of incorrect details supplied then a Cancellation fee will be charged. The vehicle and customer must both be available at the pre-arranged time. The engineer will allow 30 minutes after the agreed time before leaving, in which case a Cancellation fee will be charged. If the equipment being installed is not supplied by Total Car Kits, all parts must be on-site for the Engineer. If an installation is unable to be completed because of missing parts, then a Re-visit fee will be charged. Any Cancellation/Re-visit charges incurred will be deducted from payments already received by Total Car Kits.
-Payment
Payment for all installations is taken online by Credit/Debit card in advance. We use PayPal as our secure payment processor.
-Vehicle Checks
Before commencing work on your vehicle, the Engineer will discuss with you the placement of any equipment to be installed. A thorough check of the vehicles electrical systems will be carried out and any physical damage to the vehicle will be noted. The Customer will then be required to sign a form stating that any faults with the vehicle have been pointed out and agreed prior to installation, and also that the Customer has agreed with the Engineer the location of any equipment being installed. These same checks will also be carried out once the Engineer has finished working on the vehicle to ensure it is left as it was prior to the work being carried out. Once satisfied, the customer will be required to sign the form indicating that the vehicle is in the same condition as before and that the equipment has been correctly installed.
-Kit Compatibility
It is important to check compatibility between your phone(s) and any equipment being installed. We are able to offer pre-installation advice, however Total Car Kits are liable for the Kit and Installation only, not any compatibility issues. No refunds are available for compatibility issues. Checking compatibility is the responsibility of the customer.
-Demonstration
A full demonstration of the equipment being installed will be provided by the engineer upon completion. Please be aware however in the case of Bluetooth products that the engineer may not be familiar with certain customer’s handsets. In this case the engineer will assist as much as possible, but a full demonstration will be provided using the engineer’s phone. Instructions for all products are left on site with the Customer.
-Refunds
Refunds are available on installed products. These must be within the 7-day cooling off period. No labour fees can be refunded, and a De-Installation charge will apply to remove any kit which is to be refunded. This is to be paid for in advance and before any refund can be issued.
